I am planning to upgrade to macOS Sonoma. Will SilverFast 9 be compatible?

If I upgrade my OS to macOS 14 Sonoma will SilverFast 9 be compatible?

Yes, SilverFast 9 is compatible with macOS X Sonoma.

We are still in the process of testing if the drivers for all supported scanners are compatible with macOS X Sonoma as well.

However, please note that SilverFast 8 will not be compatible with macOS X Sonoma and macOS 13 Ventura. Find out more here.

We recommend all SilverFast 8 users to try SilverFast 9, as it offers numerous advantages in terms of UI, usability, stability, performance, and features. An ARM-based version of SilverFast 9 is available to support Apple Silicon chips of your M1 Mac.
