I updated my SilverFast 9 for Plustek to 9.1.6 and now I can't scan anymore?

If you've recently updated your SilverFast 9 to version 9.1.6 you might experience connection issues after the update, please follow this workaround:

 

  1. Please quit SilverFast and turn off your Plustek scanner.
  2. Open your browser and go to MySilverFast.
  3. Log in your account with your MySilverFast user name and password.
  4. Download the installer from "Manage Licenses" and the "Download"-button in the corresponding tile for your current SilverFast 9 for Plustek license.
  5. Please note: If you have multiple licenses in your account, make sure to choose the license for your Plustek scanner.
  6. Run the installer/update (no need to uninstall the previous version of SilverFast 9).
  7. After successful installation, please turn your scanner back on and start SilverFast 9 for Plustek.
  8. Good job! Your Plustek scanner is now back up running again with SilverFast 9 🚀👏.
