How to Change Your Scanner

The option to transfer your license to a new scanner, along with any associated conditions, will be available within your MySilverFast account. You can log in at my.silverfast.com to manage your licenses.

When you start SilverFast 9 for the first time with a new scanner, or if the software is not yet activated for a connected scanner, it will prompt you to log in to your MySilverFast account. SilverFast will then connect to your account and automatically activate the software for the connected scanner, provided you have a valid license for that model or the option to transfer one.

You can activate SilverFast on up to three systems simultaneously using your MySilverFast account. If you reach this limit, you can log out from one of the computers or deactivate a license via your MySilverFast account to free up a slot.

You might need to upgrade to a higher SilverFast 9 edition to unlock this feature.  
  4. Additional Licenses for Multiple Scanners: If you intend to use SilverFast 9 with multiple scanners simultaneously, you will need to acquire additional licenses for each scanner model. Each license permits usage on a single computer at a time.
